An Evening to Remember: NSW Police Legacy’s Blue Ribbon Ball 2025 at ICC Sydney
Held annually to honour and support the families of fallen officers, the Blue Ribbon Ball is NSW Police Legacy’s flagship fundraising event—and this year’s edition was its most vibrant and emotional yet. Hosted at the iconic ICC Sydney, the 2025 ball embraced a bold circus theme, drawing a record crowd of 900 attendees for a night of remembrance, celebration and community.
Funktionality Events & Experiences proudly partnered with NSW Police Legacy to help the evening’s theme come alive through thoughtful styling, immersive décor and seamless on-site support. From custom-designed circus-themed centrepieces to interactive games to striking props and furniture placement, every detail enhanced the grandeur and heartfelt spirit of the occasion.
This year was the 23rd annual iteration of this important occasion and it was the highest turnout since COVID – a true show of community and support. The event was attended by the NSW Police Commissioner and guests received a touching speech from Police Legatee Warren Proops, sharing his story of love and loss. The NSW Police Band conducted a high-energy performance, and most remarkably of all, a $50,000 was donated from Police Bank to support education grants.
We were delighted to have played a role in such a meaningful event, and we look forward to supporting NSW Police Legacy’s incredible work in the years to come.
